First it was the laptop then the nomenclature changed to notebook. Much later when these pint sized books came we changed the name to netbooks.And now Dell(Inspiron 6400 Battery) has added on to it and come up with an entirely new name—the Educational Netbook.
Here’s a stunner of a data point: Apple is selling more than 200,000 iPads per week. Which means, according to RBC Capital Markets analyst Mike Abramsky, that sales of the company’s new device have outpaced those of the Mac in the United States and are closing in on those of the iPhone 3GS.

Now that pretty much every Android phone includes free turn-by-turn spoken directions, one that specializes in navigation seems like a tough sell. But the Garminfone, as the second device to hit the U.S. from Garmin-ASUS , has the goods for those who spend a lot of time in the car, offering a friendly interface, real-time traffic, and an included windshield mount. And although the Garminfone runs a dated version of Android (1.6), it integrates GPS more deeply than its competitors.

The new mobile PC is known as the Toshiba(Toshiba Satellite P30 Battery) Satellite P505 and is an 18.4-inch notebook that was first showcased at this year’s international Consumer Electronics Show. It is based on an Intel Core i7-720QM central processing unit, with a clock frequency of 1.6GHz. This CPU is accompanied by 4GB of DDR3 memory, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce 310M discrete GPU, with 512MB of memory.
Apple on Tuesday beefed up its plain vanilla MacBook with a tweaked CPU, more storage and longer battery life, among other things.The upgrade comes one month after Cupertino refreshed its MacBook Pro line and just weeks before its World Wide Developers Conference, to be held in San Francisco.
