Who Would Pay For Ipad?
Who Would Pay For Ipad?
iPad born, to buy or not to buy, that’s a question.
On January 27th, 2010,Apple finally unveiled its fabled tablet computer, called the iPad. This device looks akin to a large iPhone or iPod touch. It supports a 9.7 inch LCD touch-screen display, which makes use of the same multi-touch technology found on the iPhone, Apple’s Magic Mouse, and its notebook trackpads. It also has the same in-plane switching display technology that made its debut in the crop of iMacs. Thus, many people especially those who have already got an ipod touch or iphone, hold an interrogative views on making decisions of to buy or not.
However, for Apple, the position of iPad is very clear. Knowing that device with price below 0 is iPod Touch, with price above 00 are MacBook and MacBook Pro, in the difference of more than 0, iPad does have a great stage for performing besides NetBooks.
Anyhow, from users’ point, I believe everyone has his own answer to the question of “Who Would Buy iPad?”
In fact, iPad is not purely a large version of iPhone. It also has its unique traits, such as up to 10 hours battery life while surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching videos, or listening to music, larger screens, numerous first-party apps, etc. Combining with the common usage of : web surfing, mail, contacts, calendar, photos, music, video, game, ibooks, etc. iPad could be popular with users of needs below:
1. To be used for tourism. In a trip for one week, taking a notebook is too heavy for the tourism. By using the iPad, you can not only watch the photos shot during the trip, but also don’t need to find power cables in the airport.
2. To be used in car. During a family journey by car, we always have to take PSP or NSDL in order to get the boredom away. With an iPad, family members on the rear seat can watch even DVD movies , of course you should convert DVDs to iPad before and fix the iPad on the back of the front seat.
3. To be used in kitchen. Currently, more and more families like to put a little TV in kitchen so that no news would be missed during the cooking process. It is very difficult to set a notebook in kitchen without getting the notebook wet or saving any tiny spaces with its keyboard.iPad is the key to this confusing problem by being hanged onto the wall or put onto the table. At that time, no matter news or youtube videos, and even dvd movies (convert DVD to iPad before) could be played on it. What’s more, you could use the iPad as an e-menu since it has a super large screen and powerful function of net surfing and multi-touch.
4. For students and Children use. With an accessory of blue-tooth keyboard and an up to 10 hours battery life, students can use it for taking notes and study from 8 am to 5 pm without any difficulties. If you find many good educational DVDs, you could convert them onto iPad by some iPad-optimized apps, such as Wondershare DVD to iPad Converter, and teach your children anywhere at any time.
5. For the elderly use. iPad is very easy to use, since with poor eyesight, adjusting the size of characters on normal notebook’s HD screen is not easy, but for iPad, its zooming is very easy and swift, which is more convenient for the elderly. Moreover, the maintenance is easier than normal PC, there is no need to worry about the virus or Trojans. And with such a large screen, watching videos and e-books will be surely enjoyable.
Why iPad could triumph Macbook and Netbook ?
1. Macbook can not be connected with internets at your pleasure, which is exactly the unique selling point of iPad.
2. The average price of the Macbook is above 00 which is much more expensive than iPad.
3. Netbook is almost the same as a cheap notebook, while iPad is a powerful entertainment table, not only with the function of net surfing but also with many unique traits and functions to meet users’ more needs.
Ok, are you clear enough now to make a decision? Like a guest in the show named Wait wait, Don’t Tell Me in NPR, when he firstly saw the iPad, he said , ” That is it ?”, after understanding more of its function, he said, ” I want one.” That’s the glamour what’s Apple always good at.

This is my third iPad case-related purchase. It’s the best one.
Background:
The day I bought my iPad at the Apple Store, about four days after the WIFI versions were first released, the Apple Store had three cases (none of them the Apple-branded one): they had Belkin, and two versions of InCase. I asked the Genius (or maybe he was only a subgenius, since he was working the floor) to open the more expensive InCase case and realized it didn’t cover the front of the iPad which it inferred on the packaging, so for $10 less bought the lesser InCase rubber/silicone shell.
At home my wife and I both decided the flat boxy shape of that shell didn’t hug the iPad tightly enough and it was almost as heavy. We returned it for a refund a week later since the Apple Store still had no other options at that time.
Next up I bought a hard shell case with a “free” screen protector from [...]. They said it was 35.99 marked down to 19.99 and showed a photo of someone twisting it as if the sleeve/case was fully flexible. Several people gave it good reviews on their site.
The screen protector was in packaging that said it was an “LCD laptop screen protector” with a new label slapped over the packaging stating it was for iPad. The shell case did not have a sealed package just a used plastic bag over it. The case did not fit my iPad and was not flexible. I returned it, again for a refund, though the company emailed me they would send out another if I wanted. They also called me later and reiterated the offer but I took the refund.
I then found this miniSuit case on Amazon and it was in stock. There were other cases that looked like they MIGHT be good, but at 39.99 and above. And most were not in stock. I bought the miniSuit black case with black silicone shell.
The rubber shell is silicone similar to the case I bought for my iPod Touch over a year ago. It fits snugly and is lightweight.
The LCD screen protector is similar to the one that Handhelditems offered. Unfortunately it was a problem since the instructions on the package were for a different protector – the one included had two tabs and both sides were sticky – I pulled the cover down as instructed and it stuck to the iPad so I assumed I had the correct side. It stuck on nicely but when I pulled off the cover to the top side it was “sticky-er.” I had to pull the whole protector off and throw it away. I plan to purchase an anti-glare protector to use outside so this was not a deal breaker. If I had guessed the stickier side correctly I probably would have left it on and not even made this observation.
The small neoprene case fits the iPad (with silicone shell on) tightly but with enough room to also insert the white padded foam filler they used in shipping. You could place it over the iPad’s screen for extra protection in the case (if you want to). The case has an outside zippered pocket that my stand, my microfiber cleaning cloth and Pogo stylus (recommended for Art Studio or other art apps) fits in. The case also has two elastic bands on the inside corners to hold the iPad, though they are not necessary. There is also a small miniSuit cleaner pad that can be attached to the zipper of the case or put in the pocket, and the screen protector also includes a standard small eyeglasses cleaning cloth.
For the price, relative to what else was shipping when I bought it, it is an excellent product.

The skin was very easy to place on the ipad and had a great soft feel. The sleeve was a perfect size and could fit the ipad with the skin on it.

Great cover and case for the new iPad! I got my iPad last Sat. And my Mini Suit case this Sat. The purple silicon sleeve slid right on my iPad and it makes it much nicer to hold in my hands. Very nice deep purple case too with two ways to keep the iPad in it, elastic straps and a neoprene slot, plus the added zipper outside pocket gives me a place to put my earphones, screen wipe, and other little extras.

This was a great buy. I purchased my iPad and received it weeks later; I purchased the covers and it came within two days. I was very pleased with this purchase. The skins and case fit perfectly, and all for a low cost. Don’t hesitate to buy, well worth the money. : )

I had ordered a blue skin and neoprene case, as I did not see a purple color offered when I ordered my accessory bundle. I emailed Minisuit just after I was notified that my bundle was being shipped, inquiring whether I could change my color choice from blue to purple. To my pleasant surprise, I received a prompt reply from their customer service department informing me that they were able to pull by order just before shipment and exchange it for a purple bundle. The delivery was completed 4-5 days later. The purple neoprene case, silicone skin, screen protector, and LCD cleaner (which is very small and easy to overlook as just a zipper lanyard/decoration) were exactly what I had hoped for. I have not received my iPad, yet. But, I fully anticipate that all the items in the bundle will fit properly. The items do seem well made. Also, rather than purchase these items separately for a greater cost, the accessory bundle includes everything you will need to protect your precious iPad at a nice cost savings. I would do business with this company again and will look for any other new products that they may bring to market.
